Excellent content; technical/slow read Oct 13, 2008 This is an excellent book to turn boards of non-profit organizations into effective boards. My school board is currently going into Carver board training and this book was assigned. It is right on target. A must read for all non-profit boards.
The difficulty for me was that it reads slow - technical discourse. Yet I wanted to read it all the way through and found it very instructive. Great days ahead for our school board!
